2025 MANS Call for Resident Abstracts

AWARDS:
• 1st Place Basic $1,100 • 1st Place Science: $1,100 • Runner up: $800
Participants: Neurosurgery residents training in the State of Michigan are invited to submit one abstract in either basic or clinical science research.
Deadline: The deadline for electronic submission of abstracts is May 16, 2025.
Abstract Guidelines: Your abstract should include the following key elements:
Reason for your work - What is the importance of this study?
Problem - What does your work attempt to solve?
Methodology - What is the approach that you used in your study or review?
Results: What are findings/data that indicate the result of your work?
Implications - What changes, if any, should be implemented as a result of your findings and how do your findings add to neurosurgical knowledge?
Abstracts must be a maximum of 250 words and include:
- Resident name and program
- Contact information, including phone and email
- Authors, including presenting author underlined
Presentation: You will have 5 minutes to present your abstract.
Residents receive free MANS membership and FREE meeting registration if your abstract gets selected. MANS will also cover 1 hotel night stay. You are welcome to share a room to reduce your cost of the hotel room as well.
